ABOUT THE CHEF

I am in love with food, it is my biggest passion and that definitely shows in my food. From seed through to the plate, the journey is miraculous.....

Sage & Honey was formed on an idea to optimise health through food and diet, both mental and physical. Natures effortless abundance is miraculous providing all the nutrients we need to live a healthy life, it's just remembering how. In addition to my culinary passions I am also studying to be a Naturopath, no doubt brought on by my obsession with wonderful fragrant herbs and spices. As much as possible vegetables for dinner parties and cooking lessons are sourced from our organic vegetable garden.

I have been a chef for 14 years and for the last 5 years I have been working on Super Yachts in the Mediterranean. Spending so much time in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Italy and France has made me very passionate about local seasonal produce and the delicious flavours that can be created when you let the natural flavours come shining through.

I have travelled far and wide across the globe to experience all that food and this beautiful planet has to offer - with some weird and wonderful ingredients, cooking techniques and customs. My travels took me to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Hong Kong, China and Japan where I studied with the likes of Traditional Thai Women in family homes to a Japanese Michelin Star Chef in his test kitchen in Tokyo.
